The
bar is fairly welcoming. The tap towers are extremely big and bulky, and
raised high off the bar. I'm not sure why that is, but it doesn't help the
bartenders pour beers at all (especially the shorter bartenders).
The bar is wide open though, and if you turn around, you can
watch the people walk by in front of the restaurant. On the left side of
the picture, there is a walkway on the side of the brewery where people can cut
through to the next street, and the restaurant also has seating out there.
You can also see the serving tanks and fermenters in the upper right corner of
the picture.
There is a TV at the bar, and also a few others around the
lounge area. It's not a bad place to catch happy hour and enjoy a few
pints. If you can put up with the tourists asking for "something like
Budweiser", you'll be OK. If you are a tourist, than you'll fit right
in.
