Steelhead opened in Fisherman's Wharf in about 1997.  They cater to the tourist crowds found in the Wharf, but actually manage to put out some good beers.  Steelhead is a chain which opened in Eugene, OR,  expanded to Burlingame, Irvine, and San Francisco.  

Steelhead doesn't have a website, so hopefully this will supply a lot of information for anyone interested in the brewery.

The brewery is worth visiting.  It is very touristy, it is a chain brewery, but they have a great brewer and some great beers.  Steelhead does pretty well at the GABF every year, so it's worth checking out.

(It took me about 8 trips to the brewery before I actually noticed the front of the restaurant is supposed to be a fermenter or serving tank.)
