Potrero Brewing Company won 3 medals at the first round of World Cup of Beer competitions.  There are four rounds of competitions throughout the year.  They are separated by different styles.

Potrero won a gold for Scottish Ale with the amber.  A silver for the 1999 Barley wine.  And a Bronze for Cream Ale with the blonde. 

June 1-2 - - Potrero won a Bronze medal for the Hometown Pale at the San Diego Real Ale Festival.  The festival is a cask ale competition and is the second biggest real ale fest in America.

Potrero won two 3rds at the California State Fair.  One for the Amber (in the Scottish Ale Category), and one for the Blonde Ale.
