The bar at Magnolia is beautiful, mahogany, wood bar.  Many breweries go with some kind of modern materials, but this is a classic.  The huge mural above the bar (by artist Jon Weiss) gives you something to contemplate for hours on end.

It is very welcoming when you walk in.  It is a very small place, but also very cozy.  I prefer this kind of place as it tends to have much more atmosphere than a chain brewery, and that is definitely the case here.

The wall of fame behind the bar features photographs of patrons in front of various landmarks around the world while wearing a Magnolia t-shirt.  The leaning tower of Pisa is up there, Hadrian's wall, Diamond Head, Wrigley Field, and dozens more.  Get a picture of yourself in a Magnolia t-shirt in front of recognizable scenery and get your picture on the wall.

The staff is always friendly.  Much of the staff can actually be found enjoying a couple pints after their shifts or on their days off.  It's the kind of place that you work at because it's so much fun.
