Many people in San Francisco remember the Golden Gate Park Brewery.  It's short life of operation was far out done by it's long dormant life.  The brewery lasted less than a year, and has sat empty for about 4 years.

But the equipment was left behind when the brewery closed.  It basically came as a package deal to anyone who took over the building.  If you lease the building, you get the brewing equipment too.  

So the building was finally leased in late 2001, and the brewery will be operational by mid 2002.
