Beach Chalet has the best view of any brewpub in the world.  It is located on The Great Highway, right across the street from Ocean Beach.  One of the coolest things to do is to go the pub a little while before sunset, grab a few beers, and watch the sky explode into thousands of colors as the sun sinks below the horizon. 

This is the view from the windows in the dining room of the restaurant.  You will often see surfers cutting up some waves during the day.

This is a view of the restaurant from the outside just after twilight.  You can see all the tall beach grass that grows all over the area.

The restaurant is on the top floor of the building.  The bottom floor is the City of San Francisco museum and store.  The walls downstairs are covered with murals and mosaics like the one above.

It is pretty easy to get to the Beach Chalet.  It's right across the street from the ocean - that's about all you need to know.  Here's a map:

Bike Parking:  There is a lot of bike parking in front of the building.  The bike parking is also convenient for a trip to the beach across the street as there is no bike parking available there.
