The bar was expanded shortly after opening to accommodate all the people that have come in to enjoy some great beer.

The bar can be a bit of a bottleneck at times, so if you look into the pub and it looks crowded, chances are it's just a crowd at the front bar.  The upstairs bar is always open during game days (and there's a lot of seating up there), so move past the crowd and make your way to a table or upstairs.

But the bar is actually very welcoming and easy to enjoy.  You can see the coat hooks under the bar (very important feature in a bar).  It also affords a nice view of the restaurant.  If you sit on the other side, you have a great view of the street and all the beautiful people walking by. 

There is also a TV that is off to the left of the picture, so you can watch the Giants play if you didn't get a ticket.  A new TV is being installed upstairs also.
